Besides Golden Triangle Tour, you’ll be visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site Khajuraho famous for its erotic temples and the spiritual capital of India Varanasi where pilgrims and trabelers alike gather to take a dip in the sacred water of Ganges. The glimpses of India will also take you to the capital city of Nepal.
Day 1: COCHIN | |

Arrive at Kochi International Airport. Met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. |
Day 2: COCHIN - ALLEPPEY (65KM; 1 1/2 HRS) | |

Breakfast. In the morning, you will be whisked off for a half day city tour of Cochin. You will be taken to the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, the ancient Jewish Synagogue, the St.Francis Church at Fort Kochi and of course a majestic view of the ancient Chinese nets. In the afternoon, drive to Alleppey, the city famed as Venice of the East. Check in to your resort along the backwaters of Kerala. Overnight at the resort. |
Day 3: ALLEPPEY - KUMARAKOM (BY HOUSEBOAT) | |

Breakfast. By noon, check in to the houseboat for an overnight cruise along the unique back waters of Kerala. Houseboat will be your transportation for the day and accommodation for the night. Glide along the narrow canals laced by the infinite greenery imparted by coconut palms, watch the gentle and soothing greenery of paddy fields and the village folk at work. Relax on board listening to the lullaby of the wind and waves. Chill yourself out, watching the endless strips of greenery passing by and the emerald green waters meet the crystal blue sky, whilst the houseboat cruises in a relaxing pace. This would be an experience, which you would always treasure to remember. Cruise till 6 in the evening by when the houseboat halts in the lake for an unforgettable night in the backwaters. (Next day, cruising starts at 7 am.) Enjoy a fabulous dinner onboard houseboat. Overnight on board. |
Day 4: KUMARAKOM | |

Check out at Kumarakom, a small backwater village which lies along the backwaters of Kerala, with a bird sanctuary overlooking the Vembanad Lake. Here, you can get a feel of the essence of a typical village life of Kerala. If interested, you can take an invigorating walking tour inside the bird sanctuary. Overnight at the resort. |
Day 5: KUMARAKOM - COCHIN (90KM; 2HRS) | |

Breakfast. Drive to Cochin, the commercial Capital of Kerala, a city also famed as 'Queen of Arabian Sea'. Half Day city tour of Cochin takes you to the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, the 16th century Jewish Synagogue containing some of India's most beautiful murals, the St.Francis Church at Fort Kochi. You can also enjoy a majestic view of the cantilevered ancient Chinese fishing nets. Overnight at the hotel. |
